ROIL HELPS DRAGSTER BECOME AUSTRALIA'S No 1!
Owners Mick Atholwood & Roy Smith, Brisbane. AUSTRALIAN 2000 CHAMPIONS CALDER PARK, MELBOURNE NITRO FUELERS QUARTER MILE @ 5.7 SECONDS REACHING 260MPH (419 km per hr)
At these Australian National Championships at Calder Park, Melbourne (19/2/2000) it was going to be impossible to break any World or Australian records because of the extremely poor running conditions. The atmospheric temperature was 40°C and the percentage of oxygen in the air was equal to 4,500 feet above sea level. However, the Mick Atholwood & Roy Smith team went on to become the heroes of the 2000 Australian National Championships, achieving a great win. What was surprising was how they won. How did their nitro fueler complete the distance? Behind the scenes a dramatic story unfolded.
Roy Smith was at the starting line when he noticed the oil pressure was dropping fast. All the oil was pumped out of the engine, but they decided there was no turning back. "The Sanity powered fueler didn't, as both guys expected, throw parts on the track, burst into flame or even simply cease running. Despite zero oil pressure it kept on keeping on, all the way to the finish lights, where it won. When asked how did it survive, Atholwood had a one word answer: ROIL" *
Roil has proven itself to be a valuable additive to the dragster. Running costs of the car for a single burnout and quarter mile pass are $2,000 without any mishaps, and if the tyres lose traction during a pass, engine damage can range anywhere between $5,000 & $50,000. ROIL has significantly increased reliability & helped reduce the running costs.
An Australian made "Sanity" 500 cu. inch supercharged V8 engine, delivering 5,500 hp @ 8,000 RPM, with 1s,000-psi cylinder pressure powers the dragster. The engine is stripped down & rebuilt after each pass. In this class of racing it is not uncommon to destroy multiple engine blocks during a racing season, however since using ROIL, this car is still using the same engine block. ': A. Atholwood says, "I swear by it. I soak all the parts of our engine in it before assembly. It's like magic."*
Roil is used in every moving part of this dragster with excellent results as follows:
OVERHEAD CAM (No push rods)
Before ROIL treatment, the falcon roller bearings often needed to be replaced after every meeting due to cracking under the extreme operating conditions. But now after soaking the parts in ROIL & also using ROIL in the engine, the rollers & rockers haven't needed to be replaced & show no signs of wear or fatigue.
ROIL Lower Engine treatment @ 1 : 12 ratio.
DIFFERENTIAL
Since using ROIL, no diff problems have been experienced. The case hardened gears don't seem to wear or crack as they previously did. Replacement cost of the diff is $15,000.
ROIL Manual Transmission & Diff treatment@ 1 : 8 ratio
WHEEL BEARINGS
ROIL is mixed with the grease before putting it into the grease gun. Bearings don't seem to wear & the seals don't leak due to the bearings running a lot cooler.
ROIL Manual Transmission & Diff treatment@ 1 : 6 ratio
TRANSPORT VEHICLE
Towing the 40ft trailer between Brisbane & Melbourne with our 1982 GM is easier & more economical since using ROIL, with the engine temperature dropping from 220°F to 180° f .

No Equipment failure in last 4 years since ROIL being used on million dollars of Farm Equipment
My name is Bev Skerman. I live on the Old Darling Downs and have been a farmer here for 36 years. I have worked with machinery almost all my life.
After leaving school I was a Motor Mechanic working with a large range of cars, trucks, tractors and agricultural machinery. From this experience I came to realize that if metal surfaces could somehow be conditioned to prevent friction or drag, energy could be saved and put to better use. Also heat would be reduced, less fuel consumed and many other benefits gained.
The good news is that, "Now something has been done"!! I was introduced to a company called "Neways International", who's owner and founder is Industrial Chemist, Tom Mower.
Neways operates from a home base in Utah, USA and they also own a manufacturing plant in Auckland, New Zealand, plus operate in about 40 other countries around the world. A family friend, Paul Chataway called to visit our home for a cuppa and began telling my wife and I about this company called "Neways" and a product called Roil, a metal conditioner that really works.
After seeing the test machine in action, my two sons, (Ross & Ken) and I were impressed to say the least. It was easy to see that we could dramatically reduce the wear and tear on our equipment, and because friction is reduced, less maintenance and increase power.
Naturally we bought Roil Lower Engine treatment and I added it to my 1984 Honda Accord at the next oil change. I had immediate results. After travelling home from the farm workshop I could feel better response from the motor. It ran quieter and smoother; and to my surprise the motor increased idle speed from 600RPM to 1000RPM. Friction had been reduced to a minimum and the result was better performance, fuel economy and smoother running. I then added Roil to the gearbox and ditto, the car has never been better even though it has a speedo reading of 180,000km.
Roil has now been added to Ross's Falcon wagon in all compartments where oil is required, Ken's Nissan Patrol in all compartments and our Case 4890 tractor (300hp) in engine, gearbox, front and rear diffs, power shift, all the planetary gears in the wheel hubs and hydraulic system oil.
We also put ROIL in our John Deere Harvester 7720 in everything that uses oil, our Case cotton picker in the many compartments, 21 ft Surprise slasher gearboxes and then of course 3 of the Toyota 4x4 farm utes, smaller slashers, mowers, motor bikes, and Acco Inter spray truck. The benefits we have noticed are too many to mention, but in each machine or vehicle there has been a marked change in performance, quieter running, less heat in the gearboxes and diffs, better pulling power, and up to this point, no breakdowns because of lubrication problems - only normal service intervals.
We have been using Roil in our machinery since Oct 1996 now and are very satisfied with this amazing product and would be very foolish not to use it. Because of our success with Roil we now supply it to other farms in the district and at last count we've sold more than 30 x 19 lt drums of Roil.

Engine trouble ceased when added ROIL
Ashley told me about how ROIL got his AU$350,000 tractor working after losing 6 months work out of the previous 12 months. From nearly day one of buying this brand new tractor there were problems. In the 1800 hours the clutch packs needed replacing three times, they just kept getting too hot and burning out. Then Wayne Amos, through Ashley persuaded the local servicing dealer to allow ROIL to be used with the recommended John Deere Oil. The transmission has since run 14 - 15 degrees cooler.
Over that first 12 months having lost that 6 months down time, over AU$100,000 in work was lost. Ashley told me how they were now big believers in ROIL. Before this Ashley didn't believe in additives because his experience was they didn't work. Now he treats everything - differential, the hydraulics and at the next service he will be ordering another 19 litre drum to treat the lower engine. Ashley has two other tractors which he has also treated with ROIL and when he treated their Toyota ute's engine the revs increased by 150 RPM.
